About GameRevenueData
GameRevenueData is a free, public reference for how much games on Steam earn. For every eligible title it publishes an estimated revenue figure, an estimated ownership range, available player counts, and review statistics. Observation dates vary by game and metric.
The site exists because Steam does not publish sales data, yet developers, publishers, investors, journalists, and players all need a reasonable answer to "how well did this game do?". Our methodology page explains exactly how the numbers are produced and where they can be wrong.
Who runs it
GameRevenueData is built and maintained by the team behind PlayRev (opens in new tab) , a Steam analytics platform for developers and publishers. The estimates here come from the same data pipeline. PlayRev adds historical trends, sales history, sentiment analysis, and AI-generated reports on top of it.
Using the data
You are welcome to cite figures from this site with a link back to the game page. Estimates are for informational purposes only and should not be used for financial decisions.
